Event Name: Joye In Aiken 2020: St. Lawrence String Quartet

Event Description: Beloved by Spoleto audiences and revered by fans and critics around the globe, the SLSQ jumped at the chance to renew its ties with Aiken after its 2018 appearance here. In addition to presenting a public performance, the world-famous quartet (for whom education is a top priority) will spend a full week teaching Aiken High and Schofield Middle School students as part of our extensive Outreach Program. In this year of their 30th anniversary as an ensemble, we're especially pleased to welcome back second violinist and longtime friend of Joye in Aiken Owen Dalby, who has been performing in the Festival since his pre-SLSQ days.
