| Event Description: | Start your New Year's resolution out on the right foot with a scenic hike at Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site. Enjoy a self-guided brisk hike with magnificent views of Redcliffe's historic plantation mansion and terraced landscape. A First Day Hike map will be available on the porch of the visitors center for guests to follow. So get out of the house, enjoy the fresh, crisp air, and join us at Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site as we kick off the New Year. The walk is free. Make sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent and a camera if you desire. The walk takes place off-trail so be sure to wear good hiking boots. Make sure to dress for the weather. |
