|Event Name:||Audubon: Field Trip|
|Event Description:||February 6 - Silver Bluff Audubon Ponds - meet at 8 am at the Kathwood Ponds at Silver Bluff (look for the fence with the wooden birds on it). We will walk around the ponds to see what is there. If we have time we may drive down to the visitor's center and walk the Nuthatch Trail to see what is there.
Augusta-Aiken Audubon's field trips are open at no charge to all chapter members and the public. We encourage everyone to come out and join us.
Some tips to make the trips more comfortable: bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and drinking water. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended as is having rain-gear nearby.
Morning trips in fall and in spring usually begin at 8 am and end around noon. Winter trips usually begin at 9:00 am and end around noon. Summer field trips during the hot weather usually begin at 8 am and end around 11 am.
Please confirm with Lois at 803.215.1594 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be attending the trip. If no one confirms, the trip may be cancelled without notice.
