|Event Name:||Audubon: Field Trip|
|Event Description:||April 3 - Silver Bluff Audubon Center - Wings and Things. Meet at 8 am at the visitor center picnic pavilion. We will wander over the property looking for butterflies and dragonflies and anything else we find. Possible species include Piedmont Clubtail (dragonfly), Yucca Giant-skipper and Goatweed Leafwing (butterflies).
Augusta-Aiken Audubon's field trips are open at no charge to all chapter members and the public. We encourage everyone to come out and join us.
Some tips to make the trips more comfortable: bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and drinking water. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended as is having rain-gear nearby.
Morning trips in fall and in spring usually begin at 8 am and end around noon. Winter trips usually begin at 9:00 am and end around noon. Summer field trips during the hot weather usually begin at 8 am and end around 11 am.
Please confirm with Lois at 803.215.1594 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be attending the trip. If no one confirms, the trip may be cancelled without notice.
