|Event Name:||Hitchcock Woods Schooling Days|
|Event Description:||Have you always wanted to jump or just ride in the historic Hitchcock Woods Horse Show Ring? Your opportunity has arrived. The Hitchcock Woods Foundation is offering two fun days to school in the Horse Show Ring from 9AM to 4PM on April 16 and 17, 2021.
Course designers John Abbott and Richard Lamb will set up a course similar to the ones used in the Aiken Horse Show. Don't miss the chance to practice for the 2022 Aiken Horse Show or check it off your bucket list for jumping or riding in the Show Ring.
We are offering 10 time slots per hour. Riders may be asked to wait a few minutes if the ring is full. Multiple horses will be allowed in the ring per time slot or check with the ingate if you would like to jump a course alone. Bring your trainer and your friends. Please allow at least 30 minutes to ride into woods to make your time slot.
A fee of $25 per horse can be paid by check (made to Hitchcock Woods Foundation) or cash. Fees will be collected at the Ring. Liability Waivers must be signed at the gate. Protective head gear, properly secured, must be worn by all riders while in the ring. All dogs in the area must be on a leash.
No Vehicles (except officials) will be permitted in the Woods. Trailer Parking is available at the 263 Rubins Cottage Lane entrance (Stable on the Woods, off of Dibble Rd) or limited parking is available alongside the Aiken County Historical Museum wall on South Boundary.
