|Event Name:||Audubon: Field Trip|
|Event Description:||September 17 - Crackerneck Wings and Things
Meet at the gate check in station at 9am. We will travel around the property looking at anything we can find. Depending on whether or not they have mowed this can be a fantastic place for butterflies as well as birds. Bring snacks/lunch because if we get to the back we may be there a while. Depending on time we may come out by the power line road.
Augusta-Aiken Audubon's field trips are open at no charge to all chapter members and the public. We encourage everyone to come out and join us.
Some tips to make the trips more comfortable: bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and drinking water. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended as is having rain-gear nearby.
Morning trips in fall and in spring usually begin at 8 am and end around noon. Winter trips usually begin at 9:00 am and end around noon. Summer field trips during the hot weather usually begin at 8 am and end around 11 am.
Please confirm with Lois at 803.215.1594 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be attending the trip. If no one confirms, the trip may be cancelled without notice.
