| Event Description: | Softball Wednesday and Thursday, September 21-22 at North Augusta/Riverview Park *Game times to be announced based on participation* The Thoroughbred Games - Senior Sports Classic is a local opportunity for adults ages 40+ to compete against like minded peers in a safe and friendly environment. The Thoroughbred Games are brought to you through a partnership of local Parks Recreation & Tourism agencies: Aiken County PRT, City of Aiken PRT, Gregg Park Civic Center, and North Augusta PRT. Our mission is to promote the health and physical fitness of adults 40+ through organized events and competition. This non-sanctioned event provides a potential stepping stone towards the South Carolina Senior Sports Classic and the National Senior Games for those who wish to continue in competition. All events are located in Aiken County, but are at different locations. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled event time. This ensures that everyone will have time to get checked in and prepared for the event to begin. Remember to bring all equipment you need to compete in your event. Other than those events that use shared equipment, equipment will not be provided by event staff. |
