| Event Description: | A celebration perfectly timed, the Friends of the Aiken County Historical Museum hosts the 2022 Great Gatsby party on Friday, September 16, at 6:30 pm at the Museum. The Great Gatsby party draws inspiration from the 1925 novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This event has been tailor-made to dazzle, be luxurious, and have a free-spirited atmosphere, just like the 1920s. Expect live music, dancing, champagne bubbles, and all the jazz age fun you can imagine. Your ticket price of $75 per person gives you a key to this era and numerous photo opportunities, so come dressed to impress. Free parking and shuttle ride are available at the First Church Christ, 433 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29801. There will be a brief auction held. Proceeds benefit the Aiken County Museum.
