| Event Description: | Over the years, thousands have attended the Annual Aiken One Table event. After a two-year hiatus due to concerns regarding COVID-19, One Table will return on November 24th from 11 am to 1 pm. The event's past organizers are teaming up with The Salvation Army of Aiken to bring back the free community dinner celebration. The dinner will be held at The Salvation Army's headquarters at 322 Gayle Ave. Starting Nov 1st, people who want to donate prepared food (macaroni and cheese, rice and sweet potatoes) can sign up and pick up pans at the Life Choices Pregnancy Care Center at 130 East Pine Log Road. After being filled, the pans should be taken to The Salvation Army's headquarters on Nov 23rd or by 10 am on Nov 24th. For those who wish to donate desserts, they can bring the desserts to The Salvation Army's headquarters on Nov 22nd or 23rd, or before 10 am on Nov 24th. For information about volunteering or donating money, call 803-641-4141. Come, share the day with us. After all, sharing is what Thanksgiving is all about. |
