| Event Description: | Saltcatcher Farms invites you to an illuminated Labyrinth Walk & Stargazing event. Enjoy the farm at sunset and behold the stars during this new moon. Come out to enjoy the labyrinth, make friends, and maybe even toast marshmallows. The new moon sky will be nice and dark for stargazing (if there are not too many clouds). Labyrinths are a walking form of meditation. They have been used for over 4,000 years by many cultures and religions throughout the world. The labyrinth at Saltcatcher Farms is modeled from one located next to a cathedral in France. Parking is behind the farm, via the gate accessible from Frank Court (where the large sign is). The labyrinth is wheelchair accessible with two emergency exits. This event is free and open to the public. |
