| Event Description: | The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department announces the Take-A-Hike event on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park 700 Mack Henry Holland Drive, Aiken, SC 29801. Join us for a guided group hike through one of the City of Aiken's newest parks to learn about the best places for hikes in and near Aiken, hiking tips & tricks, and basic first aid for trail walkers. Hiking lets you explore the natural world, exercise, enjoy time with friends and family, or grab a moment of silence alone. This event is free, and all ages are welcomed. Adults must accompany children 13 and under. Participants will receive light refreshments and snacks. Sign up now at the Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior and Youth Center, Odell Weeks Activities Center, or the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center. Registration is required, and space is limited. Registration is open and ends May 8, 2023.
