Thousands are drawn to this community each Saturday after Thanksgiving to celebrate this unusual food item that has been a Southern tradition for over one-hundred years. Activities include a parade, hog-calling and strut contests, food and craft vendors, beauty pageant, carnival rides and a car show. 8:00AM - Until Gone -- Chitlin Plates $20 (served Fried or Boiled) 10:00AM -- Chitlin Strut Parade 11:00AM - 6:00PM -- Live Entertainment 12:30PM -- Hog Calling Contest |
