| Event Description: | Please join the Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta for the grand opening and ribbon cutting of a new permanent exhibit about the Hampton Terrace Hotel. This famous historic venue was open from 1903 until it was destroyed by fire in 1916 and hosted a variety of notable guests like John D. Rockefeller and President-elect William Howard Taft. The evening will also celebrate the special exhibits "Autumn Memories" and the 2nd annual Brick Ponds Photography Show featuring photographs shot at Brick Ponds Park, North Augusta. Both exhibits will be on display September 7 to October 2, 2023. The reception will be held on Thursday, September 21 from 5 to 8 pm. The exhibits and reception are free and open to the public. |
