| Event Description: | Save the date for the 2024 Blessing of the Crops dinner event presented by AgSouth Farm Credit and hosted by the Southern Palmetto Regional Chamber & the Barnwell Farmers Market. Join with agriculture producers and supporters to pray for a bountiful harvest, discuss the latest trends in the agricultural sector, and enjoy a meal created with ingredients from producers from the region. This year's Blessing will be held at Huckleberry Bay Barn, a brand new farm venue in Hilda SC from Mindy Sandifer, who has spent decades supporting young aspiring farmers throughout the region. Presenters will include Angela Rainwater from Growers for Grace, Tania Johnson-Hester from Saltcatcher Farms, Kendall Kirk from Clemson's Center for Agricultural Technology, and Aaron Wood, Assistant Commissioner for SCDA. The evening will include a delicious dinner of Fish & Grits and steamed oysters prepared by the women of Kinard's Kitchen.
