| Event Description: | *Rescheduled - Due to the high water level and poor road conditions to the landing, we are rescheduling the South Fork Paddlers August 10th paddle trip to August 17th. The South Fork River Crew will conduct a scout paddle to checkout any storm damage caused by Tropical Storm Debby.* Saturday, August 10th (Launch @ 9:00 AM) 8 miles Bring your own boat & gear (A life jacket & whistle are required by law) To rent a boat & gear, contact Cope Kayak Company at 803.614.9836. Camping & cabins available at: Edisto Birdhouse Refuge (near Branchville) call 803.535.2430 and/or Barnwell State Park (near Blackville). Free shuttle service is provided. Sponsored by: First Baptist Church Denmark The 2024 River Trips are on the second Saturday of the month May - October. |
