| Event Description: | Saturday, September 14th (Launch @ 10:00 AM) *Updated* Due to the effects of Tropical Storm Debby, the previously planned paddle trip has been altered. The September paddle will be from Brabham's Landing to Bishop's Landing, a 4-mile section of the Edisto River. At the end of the paddle trip, enjoy a hot dog lunch provided by Denmark First Baptist Church. Bring your own boat & gear (A life jacket & whistle are required by law) To rent a boat & gear, contact Cope Kayak Company at 803.614.9836. Camping & cabins available at: Edisto Birdhouse Refuge (near Branchville) call 803.535.2430 and/or Barnwell State Park (near Blackville). Free shuttle service is provided. Donations accepted.
