| Event Description: | Come enjoy live country music, great food and entertainment and so much more. Enjoy a western themed day while watching ground roping competitions. All this to help support education in our community. LEARN Aiken Foundation will be hosting a western style roping event with dummy steer ground roping competitions on Newberry Street in downtown Aiken called Lassos for Learning. (No horses, ground roping only.) This event will include information about the nonprofit, free books for kids, T-shirts, western merchandise vendors, live music, food trucks, silent auction, and of course, roping. All are welcome to come listen to live country music, get great food and watch the competition. There will be extra roping dummies and ropes to practice.
