| Event Description: | Kick off your school year with a dink and a smash. Join us for an exciting day of pickleball at the Back2School Scramble. This event is open to students aged 10-18 (your age by 12/31/2024). Even better - you don't need a partner to participate. What is a Scramble? In a scramble, you sign up as an individual player and play with different partners from your pool in each game. Individual stats are calculated for each player, ensuring a fun and dynamic competition. Age Brackets and Scoring 10-13 & 14-15 Year-Old Brackets: Players will be evaluated based on points. The top-scoring player in each bracket across all matches wins gold, the second wins silver, and the third wins bronze. 16-18 Year-Old Bracket: After pool play, the top 8 players will advance to a single elimination medal round. For the playoffs, players will be paired with a partner from the other pool with the same ranking.
