| Event Description: | *Canceled - Due to the high water level and storm damage caused by Tropical Storm Debby, the previously rescheduled South Fork Paddlers trip (from August 10th to August 17th) has been canceled.* Saturday, August 10th (Launch @ 9:00 AM) 8 miles Bring your own boat & gear (A life jacket & whistle are required by law) To rent a boat & gear, contact Cope Kayak Company at 803.614.9836. Camping & cabins available at: Edisto Birdhouse Refuge (near Branchville) call 803.535.2430 and/or Barnwell State Park (near Blackville). Free shuttle service is provided. Sponsored by: First Baptist Church Denmark The 2024 River Trips are on the second Saturday of the month May - October. |
