| Event Description: | A day of inspiration and celebration, the Aiken Buddy Walk brings together the Down syndrome community all while raising funds to support the mission of the National Down Syndrome Society and the Upside of Downs of Aiken. We hope you will join us for a fun and heart-warming day promoting awareness, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The Aiken Buddy Walk will be held Sunday, October 13th on the Quad on the University of South Carolina Aiken Campus. Suggested parking is in Parking Lot A Sign in will be at the tent between the Penland Administration Building and the Student Activities Center. Registration begins at 1pm. Opening ceremony is at 2pm. The walk begins at 3:21pm. Awards presentation and group picture immediately following walk. |
