| Event Description: | The 4th Annual CanHope 5K & 1Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 26th, at The Village of Woodside. The CanHope 5K will help raise much-needed funding for its local mission of financially supporting low-income cancer patients in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Edgefield, McCormick and Orangeburg counties and also disseminating early detection and cancer prevention resources to all residents of these counties. Since 2003, CanHope has assisted with costs related to cancer treatment including transportation to cancer treatment facilities, cancer medications and medical equipment and supplies.
