| Description: Situated on 350 acres in the woods just outside Fairfax, SC, King Creek Campground (formerly known as Lakeview Plantation) is an ideal campground for equestrians along with miles of quiet, sandy trails for riding. Trails are available to the public with purchase of a day pass. Day passes must be purchased in advance by calling 843.816.1636. Horses are not provided for riding. All standard campsites feature highlines for picketing horses, and each of the equestrian campsites feature one-stall corrals in addition to the highline. Horse camping at King Creek Campground is by reservation only. **For both trail riding and camping, visitors must submit a copy of a current negative 12-month Coggins Test before they arrive. |
