|Ditch Pond Heritage Preserve
|Location: From Williston, drive west on US 78 for 3 miles, parking is on the right
|Description: Foot traffic only. No camping. An observation area provides a place to view Ditch Pond, approximately 25 acres, one of the very few Carolina bays that have retained its natural state. Throughout the preserve you may see one or more of eight rare plant species grown here. These include blue maidencane, Robbin's spikerush, creeping St. John's wort, piedmont water milfoil, awned meadow beauty, slender arrowhead, Florida bladderwort and piedmont bladderwort.
